pause for rain

They called for rain so I stayed off the house. It stayed dry until 8PM though, and I lamented losing the day. Yesterday ended with all of the wood in place, and now I’m just left to do the final prep work to get ready for the painting.

Getting the fascia board up was just enough of a challenge to be particularly satisfying. I had to carry the front piece up&down the ladder 3 times before it would fit right. Thankfully the wasps didn’t show up and the other two pieces went in without a hitch.

Getting this in place and puttying the nail holes took longer than I’d planned. Probably another day of prep is left before any real color can go up: maybe Monday if the weather holds out?
