The progress you and R have made is amazing. I don’t know of anyone who could have accomplished what the two of have.
You see? I can’t even type a coherent sentence. Please insert “you” between “of” and “have.”
2 years? I can’t seem to get a single room done in less than one year. :-)
Happy anniversary!
it was not a small task that you took on. you guys have done an amazing job.
Yep! Simply amazing! Your kin-folk are all very proud of you and what you have accomplished … this includes both of you!
A labor of love always takes time….
And yet nobody has painted the little fence out front…;)
I’ve been lurking on this website for a while, but just wanted to say the work you’ve done to this house is amazing. I sure do love me a victorian house. I’ll have to live vicariously through you though as I’m currently working on restoring a craftsman foursquare.
you’ve done so very much, you should really be proud. and making an old house solid for someone else to enjoy when/if you move on, is really a contribution. congrats, plus it’s an inspiration to the rest of us.
After 18 years of working on our 1902 house we have revised our 5 year plan to 50 years. At our age if we haven’t finished by then I feel pretty certain we won’t know. My advice on the attic thing……….don’t go up there, who knows what you might find and you have plenty to focus on without it. It’s a joy to find other old house lovers slogging away!
