and then they cut down the wrong tree

We were supposed to have had 2 trees cut down today, an entire dead tree that grew up and curved directly over the house and another scruffy weed-tree that was choking out another tree. The first one went well, and then they cut down the wrong second tree.

dead tree

Dead tree curving over the house. (Now gone!)

See that smaller tree at the bottom left of the picture? The one that provides privacy and shade that bottom corner of the house? GONE! The folks that did this are a decent company and we have high hopes that this will be resolved to our satisfaction, but it still sucks to lose a good tree. The two trees were in a series of trees planted on the line between our house and the neighbor’s house (the same side as the earlier tree removal). The tree that was supposed to have been removed is in front of the now-gone tree.
