and finally a fence gate

The privacy fence around our backyard was installed, by a previous tenant, with a slapdash manner that apparently precluded including a gate. This was kind of awkward, as the full trash cans were in the backyard when we got the place. After 45 months, we finally managed to put a gate into one of the sections that we moved last year.

It was fairly easy. We planted a new post, cut the existing panel to fit, andbrace the panel piece that became door. I was worried during the process that I was going to get the hinges screwed up and out-of-line somehow, but that was ok.

Nothing greater than a slice of privacy! I actually, with help of my brother in law, put up our privacy fence and was pretty darn proud for 2 amateurs. Site looks good.
