The first little tastes of spring are in the air and we’re planning our next steps of working on the house.

A house up the street will be on a new, more renovation-oriented house flipping show. It is already a good story and they haven’t even started yet.

We’ve ordered a toolshed. Hopefully it won’t be too large or too small.

the beginning of a picket fence
We started working on the picket fence out front this weekend and it being all unfinished will taunt us every time that we leave the house until at least next weekend.

key-key goes back outside
The “bring the outside cat inside experiment” has failed miserably, unless having everything that one owns peed on by a cat is considered a success. Key-key is an outside cat again.

everything is coming up green and pink
Almost 2 years ago, we planted 2 thundercloud plums out front. Hinting towards spring, they’ve bloomed this week and some random bulbs have started to sprout.

Two weeks after planting the fence posts, we pulled in an actual skilled carpenter and made a bunch of rounded-top fence pickets.

Now that Key-Key is back outside, we’ve attracted a new scruffy boy cat that one of us has decided looks like a “Tommy”.
