power!

For the first time in almost 3 years, we have power and light downstairs.

We’ve got 2 of these ceiling fan lights.

Our trusty and capable electrician Scott Hawkins of Kinetic Electric came over one morning recently and hooked up our outlets, lights, and fans. All of the outlets are live and we have working lights in all but one room. We even have porch lights downstairs where we’ve had only romex for too long. Yay Scott!

All of our lights are from IKEA except for the cool-ass star light that R. has been holding onto for years. She rewired this to hang instead of having to be plugged in. She is getting hardcore these days…
