back onto the siding

Having been derailed by the presence of the drywall guys and a web dev project, we’ve gotten back to the job of patching and priming on the long back wall that we got bumped from a few weeks back.

After the great success of painting the back wall of the house, we moved around the corner to the long side wall (an old photo of this wall [with shingles!]). This wall, in addition to being much longer, is more complex. There are is a section that bumps out and there are 14 windows to work around. The good news is that there won’t be as much work with the ladder fully extended.

Yesterday was good. There were 2 occasions of high-altitude thumb-smashing and inappropriate cursing, but no bees or splinters. The top back corner from the 2nd back has had all of the crap siding replaced, and this was probably the worst large area. The section at the corner by the bump-out is pretty bad, but the pieces of siding are much smaller and easier to get up a ladder… Today should see that entire back stretch free of rotted siding.

With mashed fingers, why is the cursing “INappropriate”?
