a new faucet

We got new faucets installed outside, again.

Before we could move in, we had to get plumbers out to rerun most of our plumbing, as the old plumbing had somehow gone missing. The plumbers were ok, if less than awe inspiring. One of the things that they’d done for us was install two faucets outside. As it turned out, the ‘freeze-less’ faucets that they installed were leaky and almost worthless. So now, 2 years later, we’ve finally called another plumber out to fix what had never been right.

I can identify with the missing plumbing. I have two spigots that run to the basement but are connected to nothing and I can’t even find a pipe that might have remotely been associated with them. I’m on the hunt now for an ‘off the clock’ plumber to install two new ones for me not to mention several other things that need to be fixed. It’s a bummer about the first plumbers lousy work.
