the abandoned house next door

The city came by and cut the grass of the abandoned house next door (previously). This is apparently a biannual service… As soon as they were finished, we went over and scattered a bag of wildflower seeds over the front yard.

The empty house already has the best dogwood on the block. If these seeds take and the plants bloom into a full yard of flowers, we’ll have had a hand in some great pirate landscaping.

We have an abandoned house next door to us also. The old man does come by and mow the lawn regularly but not much else, the house is covered in vines and the fence is also. It’s a pretty neat old 3 story brick and its nice NOT to have neighbors on this side.
    Hope its always empty :)
