These wonderful houses face Chimborazo Park (scroll down), a large, historic green space that overlooks the city and the river. The view is beautiful any time of the year. Behind them is an area a few blocks deep of active gentrification. This is approximately 9 blocks east, 10 blocks south, and $350,000+ of where we are. It is hard for me to see, but I’ve heard that it wasn’t that long ago that this are was way more ragged than it now appears.
