nice examples
Walking the neighborhood, there are a few examples of how we would like different parts of our house to turn out.
Our back porch is a disaster waiting to happen. We are currently trying to find the right contactor to help us with getting it back to something nice. A few block south of us is a perfect example of what the porch could be one day:
The house below was recently painted. We hadn’t seen it before. It is difficult to imagine that one day we’ll be able to do do that, too.
The porch on that blue house is so beautiful! (And I love that colour blue too.)
I don’t know if this is the proper forum for recommendations, but RBVa, the company that is restoring the yellow house you pictured, as well as my house (full disclosure: my husband is the brother of the owner of the company, and is also the lead carpenter) can help you with your porch–they do excellent work.
